A Maybeck Legacy Celebration is planned for Sunday afternoon June 30 from 3-5 p.m.
It will also be the Friends 10th Birthday Celebration.

 The Open House at the Church will feature:
|
• a building tour, • an organ interlude, • an opportunity to view some of Maybeck's architectural plans and sketches from the Church archives, • an enlarged Picture Gallery including some dramatic new 3D digital scans of the Church, • and a reception in the Fireplace Room.
• Everyone is invited.
There is no charge.

• Another special feature will be a talk on Maybeck's work designing Principia College in Elsah Illinois - given by John Guenther, FAIA, a Principia expert - the Founding Director of the Maybeck Foundation.

This Open House will be one of several events.
These events will be coordinated with the premiere of the full-length documentary "Pursuing Beauty: The Architecture of Bernard Maybeck" - produced by Paul Bockhorst.
The documentary premier will be sponsored by Berkeley Architectural Heritage Association.
